PART 1 - GENERAL

1.3 SUBMITTALS

A. Product Data:
Submit manufacturer's technical data sheets, application instructions and MSDS

B. Samples:
Submit samples representative of finish color and appearance

1.4 DELIVERY AND STORAGE

A. Delivery
1. Delivery to be received in pallets weatherized with plastic wrap
2. Individual bucket to be marked with product name

B. Storage
Store for up to 24 months above ground in dry, ventilated space

1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS

A. Environmental Requirements
1. Store material to be directly applied to masonry walls at a ambient temperature between 5 and 30 °C
2. Prevent excessively rapid or localized drying out. Use between 5 and 35 °C . Don't use in caseof possible raining during the 48 hours following the application.
3.Ventilation to be provided to properly dry during and after application.

4.No applying in case of wind or important draught. B. Working conditions
Wear gloves and protective glasses during the application.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.1 VIEUJOT FUGE

A. Manufacturer

2.2 MATERIALS

A. Product
Vieujot Fuge oleo-hydro-phobic agent, based on fluoro-acrylic polymers.
Single component liquid :
mix of carbonate calcium (less than 400 µ), gypsum plaster, lime (less than 3 %), mineral pigment, rheology, bonding and setting control agents transparent, not colored liquid
no smell, miscible to water
density : 1
pH : 6,5. Cationic.
COV content : less than 16 g/l
no primary cutaneous or ocular irritation

D. Cleaning :
If necessary , use Ethyl Methyl Cetone.

PART 3 - EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

A. Examine substrates for structural integrity
B. Examine surfaces for water repellent contaminants or efflorescence, dust, pollution, staining, etc …
C. Treated surfaces must tested perfectly dry.

3.2 PREPARATION

A. Condition of Surface
Remove foreign matter, dirt, dust

B. Drying
Surfaces must be dry.

3.3 INSTALLATION

A. Mixing
No mixing but shake before application.

B. Application
Proceed by complete panels after installation of temporary stop ends
1. Apply in one or two (wet on wet) coat until saturation point.
2.Use pencil or, better, airless spraying (mechanical or electric)
3.On horizontal surfaces, wait for a while for absorption of the product
4.On vertical surfaces, apply in one coat from top to bottom
Clean tools with clear water.
